12/17/2006 6:00 PM - Well, I was obviously unsuccesful at recoving from the parachutal stall (which is still under investigation). The wing stalled (for currently unknown reasons), fell back, remained inflated; but never recovered -- dumping me on the ground from ~50-feet altitude (and a descent rate of maybe 20 FPS). The paramotor took most of the impact (see damage later); but I instinctively put my right arm out to [stupidly] "break-the-fall"; resulting in the shattered wrist (pictured here) and a very painful elbow.
